The Start - Metropole Hotel and Spa
A classic grand Welsh hotel popular with car groups. Your Rooms at The Metropole Hotel and Spa will be available from 4:00 PM, 12th May. Your stay will include:
- Porterage
- Full use of the Rock Spa facilities
- Dinner* (3-course menu with 4 choices per course, followed by tea/coffee).
- Full Welsh breakfast
In the morning, we will host a registration event at the hotel from 9:00 AM, with our departure scheduled for 10:00 AM.

Day One Highlights
Elan Valley our route begines with a drive through the stunning Elan Valley
George III Pub This charming spot offers hearty dishes, stunning views of the Mawddach estuary, and the historic wooden toll bridge
Bala Lake Quick stop to relax around Wales' largest natural lake.
Black Rock Sands: Unique drive on beach experience with vast open space and firm sand. making it perfect for capturing memorable shots.
Crimea Pass: Scenic and winding mountain pass with thrilling curves and expansive views.
IXORA Hotel and Spa
We will arrive at aproxmitly 17:45 at the stylish, modern IXORA hotel situated on the edge of Snowdonia, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Your stay includes:
- Parking
- 3-course dinner*
- Buffet breakfast
We'll gather in the lobby at 8:45 AM to kick off day two.

Snowdonia Loop: Scenic route with breathtaking mountain views, perfect for an invigorating drive through the heart of Snowdonia.

Horseshoe Pass: Winding roads and stunning views over Dee Valley makes for an exhilarating drive.
The Finish – Ponderosa Cafe
marking the conclusion of our tour at approximately 3:00 PM.
We'll keep the wrap-up brief to accommodate those driving home. Simply return your loaned radios and bid your farewells.
